Co- Parenting, the worst, most heartbreaking, soul searching thing i’ve ever done. Giving up my Daughter for a day, an evening, a weekend crucifies me. It makes my heart ache, my head hurt and my days feel empty. That’s as honest as it gets. Continue reading “Co-parenting”
7 months ago, my life felt like a nightmare. P’s Daddy and I separated and I found myself thrust into a world of loneliness, unknown and life just me and my girl. As somebody who has spent three years as a stay at home Mummy, loving every moment of my beautiful little girl. Continue reading “Life just me and her”
I am the baby/toddler group Mummy. The Mummy that regularly attends baby/toddler groups. The Mummy who sources new baby groups and actually the Mummy that really enjoys them. I have seen P flourish in new surroundings, enjoy different crafts, toys, songs. Continue reading “The Baby/Toddler Group Mummy”
There is nothing P loves more than being outdoors, so two weeks ago we went to Poplar Farm to pick our own pumpkins. As always the camera came too, as did our friends. There was a great selection to choose from and we came away with two huge pumpkins. We had lots of fun watching P & T trying to lift the heavy pumpkins. Continue reading “Halloween Fun”
September has been a month filled with play centres, parks, friends and lots of laughter. We’ve met friends most weeks, rode bikes most days and enjoyed the last bits of good sunshine we think this year has to offer. Continue reading “Our September 2015”
Recently, I have thought more and more about having another baby. Giving P a sibling like the majority of her friends have got. A brother or a sister that she can dote on. I like the idea of it, I like that she’d have somebody else to turn to and I like the idea of being a family of 4.
Since becoming a Mummy, I have learnt a lot. I’ve learnt to be patient, be prepared and most of all I’ve learnt to trust my instincts. Everybody parents in their own way, there really is no wrong or right way. Breast/bottle, dummy/no dummy, routine/no routine, non are wrong. You do what you feel best. Below are 5 of the things i’d tell any pregnant woman.
Every parent thinks that their child is beautiful and why shouldn’t they. Every child is in there own way. Today, I bit the bullet and signed P up to a model agency. Lots of people have told me she’d be great, but I’m apprehensive. Have no idea what to expect, so I suppose we’ll have to wait and see. No matter what I’ll always think she’s perfect.
Lifethroughrosieslens is new, new to me, blogging is new to me, but you’ve got to start somewhere. For nearly 3 years we’ve had a new little girl in our life, one whom has brought joy, fun and never ending laughter to ours and our friends and families lives.
