What P wears… #2

This week, we’ve had a pretty busy week. Morning’s have been pretty full on, so organisation has been key. With the weather so hit and miss, layering and winter coats are definitely part of our routine now.

P had preschool on Monday, whilst I ran a babygroup with a friend to try and keep our local children’s centre open.

As P doesn’t wear a uniform, I opted for a little handmade dress that Perrie Pear made for us. It’s white, so not the most practical but I want to get some more wear out of it before P grows. We matched it with a Jasper Conran cardigan that my Grandma bought as a gift for P, it’s definitely a staple in her wardrobe now the weather’s changing. P also added some ear muffs, she thinks they are brilliant and they’ve been with us most of the week. My friend bought her those from a charity shop and she has loved them ever since.

Tuesday, we went to a local toddler group. This weeks theme was space so we made a little rocket. P loves this group as it’s big and has lots of activities, plus some of our lovely friends came too. P wore this little number from Tesco and is probably the item I love most in her wardrobe, so much so I bought the next size up. Tesco have some lovely little items at great prices, this was only £5.00 in their sale.

This weeks little new number is this beautiful dress with birds on, my Dad says the style is awful but I really like it and it’s easy to wear. Paige who owns Little Feather is really accommodating and will practically do anything you want. Love how it can be teamed with socks or tights.

P chose her outfit on Thursday for preschool as she loves this dress. It’s from Betsy Boo Creations in Liberty fabric and is lovely and easy to wear. This particular style of dress works with a cardigan or long sleeved top underneath. They size up quite big so you get that little bit more wear out of them. My friend bought the cardigan with a three piece set from Mamas and Papas, it’s the perfect match. As the rain hit on Thursday, the winter coat came out. We opted this year for something quite fun. Mini Boden have done a wonderful Puffin design and it’s a hit with P. I found a discount code online so it didn’t work out too expensive.

Today, we had a busy day as P went to pre school and I looked after my 5 week old Nephew Charlie. She wore a lovely pinafore from Sainsbury’s with the long sleeved top underneath. My friend bought it for her and it’s a lovely fit. Sainsbury’s currently have 25% off clothing so we’ll definitely be paying them a visit. The little red coat is our go to coat, as she got the Boden coat covered in mud. It’s from M&Co and is so lovely with heart details near the toggles. If you haven’t seen their items check them out.

If you haven’t noticed already I love handmade clothes, clothes that are unique and not what everyone else has. If you know of any other good websites for handmade, made in the UK girls dresses let me know.

  1. I LOVE her Tesco dress from Tuesday! Too cute! And the Sainsburys pinafore is adorable, I’m so happy that tartan is in for little girls this season, it always looks so wintery and lovely. Some gorgeous clothes (and P is absolutely adorable), will definitely be paying M&Co a visit – loving the coat!
    Great post 🙂
